My name is Luigi Leonardi, and I’m based in Milan.
I was born in 1998, the year Korda lifted the trophy in Melbourne, Moyá ruled the clay of Paris, Sampras dominated Wimbledon, and Rafter triumphed in New York.
I’ve always loved sports, but it was in 2015 — watching the Internazionali d’Italia final between Djokovic and Federer live — that I truly understood the raw emotion, energy, and storytelling behind it. That moment changed the way I looked at sports forever.
When I was 11, I received my first disposable film camera. A small gift that unknowingly sparked my passion for photography.
Now, I aim to tell stories through sports photography — capturing intensity, movement, and emotion in moments that often vanish in an instant. My goal is to highlight not just the action, but the human element behind it: the focus, the tension, the joy.
